It's a nice mix of auto-farm and a manual challenge, with the added incentive of a top score leaderboard. Basically I can just leave my tablet on auto-farm most of the day or while I'm at work, and when I have time to sit down and play, I can challenge the boss and try to optimize my strategies to beat my score, and be rewarded for doing so. And it's enough of a challenge that you'd have to manual play anyway. The majority of points and tokens will come from the boss fights, so that's where you want to try and score high. Just get the high score once on normal/hard quests for ranking, and then just auto-farm it until you get several boss tickets. I much prefer this new event over grinding raids.
